The Art of Licensing.

I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to license my work and get international exposure. Il Ponte Vecchio, a book publishing company from Italy inquired to license my painting “Thinking of You” for a book cover. The book title, translated to English “Go through abandonment. Live and transform the suffering of love.”

Gala of Grace. Live painting for a great cause. 2018

This is the second year I’ve been part of such an amazing event. The North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS) has supported women and children fleeing domestic abuse for over 37 years. After my painting sold at the live auction, all proceeds from the Gala of Grace went towards a new second stage house for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. I am honored to participate this charity supporting such an amazing cause.

Gala of Grace . 2017

The classy Tina Turner - portrait of the queen of Rock & Roll donated to Gala of Grace a fundraising event held every year in North Vancouver to raise money and help women who are affected by domestic violence.
I thought was appropriate to painting Tina Turner for this event because I thought she would be an inspiration not for how much she has endured but more for being strong and believing in herself she can achieve true happiness, and she has.
I'm so happy my painting sold and I was able to help out this great cause.

Together we can do it!

After I found out I was adopted, my mom told me that my biological mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and had one other breasts removed.  I was saddened and worried for my sister and I that someday we can diagnosed with breast cancer.  I wanted to create a painting to commemorate all the women who were and are affected by this terrible sickness.   I donated this painting to the Breast Cancer Foundation to be auctioned off to raise money for cancer research.
